Back in 1906
Reynald’s great grandfather Mr EUGENE RICHELMI started a successful wine business after studying Enology with FRANTZ MALVEZIN creator of the Wine Sterilization Process , Eugene Richelmi, the world’s first one to distillate the first alcohol-free vermouth “PASQUALI” back in 1906. PASQUALI is a local aperitif wine-based similar today to Cinzano or Martini, but alcohol- free.
Eugene Richelmi is known as the ancestor of the non-alcoholic spirits alternative.
Around 1910 he developed a well-known non-alcoholic aperitif called PASQUALI distributed in the south of France and North of Italy, the company closed in 1928 when he passed away.
